February Online Classes begin Feb 10

In partnership with ed2go, LMU Extension offers a wide range of interactive professional development and continuing education courses you can take entirely online. Course topics include accounting and finance, business, college readiness, computer applications, design and composition, healthcare, languages, law, teaching and education, technology, writing and publishing. Examples of courses offered in the past in the areas of Alternative Medicine, Creative Writing, Computer Applications and Accounting/Finance include:

  • Global Healing Systems: Gives an insight to the history, richness and antiquity of alternative traditional healing practices compared to Western conventional medical treatment.
  • Write Fiction Like a Pro: Aids students in creating original novels and stories, while implementing the story structuring skills professionals use. 
  • Introduction to Windows 10: Helps students learn how to proficiently use Microsoft’s new operating system. Navigating the start menu, managing and protecting files. 
  • Accounting Fundamentals: Teaches students how to analyze and record financial transactions, and provides them with some hands-on experience in various banking activities (Creating Income Statements, Balance Sheets, etc).
